This is a testimonial from a warhorse. From our boss' good friend, Señor Perry Punla. Allow us to share what Señor Punla posted on his and on PPSA pages. Just be informed that UDMC retrofitted Mr. Punla's M4-PDW with an earlier version of the PVAR gas-piston system prior to the implementation of R.A.10591...
BEWARE when buying famous brands of barrels, barrel blanks, rifles and other firearm products if these were not procured from an authorized International Distributor and duly certified. With the advent of laser engraving machines from China which are now getting common in the Philippines, you have to be careful since what you may be buying from the "gray market" as a very famous brand of product is in fact an IMITATION or a FAKE!...
1st, UDMC does not use local raw materials to produce its rifles. Even if we want to buy local rawmats, there are NONE available locally. The Philippines has no production of special alloys foremost of which are the T6-7075 aircraft grade aluminum (for the receivers), AISI 416 stainless steel Premium (for the barrels), AISI carbon steel (for the barrels), AISI 8620 and Carpenter steel (for the bolts), etc. The MIM technology for the production of small parts has not yet been perfected in the Philippines...
The "LABUYO". Semi-automatic only, S5-DGIS rifle. Caliber 5.56 NATO 14.5-inch barrel in SS-416R UDMC-made barrel from a Bergara blank, 1:8 rifling twist, totally enshroud in a one piece floating KeyMod rail. Receivers and handguards are all in T6 aircraft aluminum. The bloody red color was achieved through the old fashioned but reliably tested method of anodizing.
United Defense Mfg Corp’s F5-DGIS and S5-DGIS rifles are variants of the M16 and M4 rifles and come in two types: The “F-series” are the full automatic models for military, police and law enforcement use, and the “S-series” are the semi-automatic models for commercial, individual and security agency use...
More discussion. For you to do it or not to do it under a myriad of circumstances is a citizen's judgment call. One approach, and there are several approaches, how to effectively implement this law is for concerned and patriotic citizens to become members (even just part time) of the Barangay System of governing the peace and order in the neighborhood...
Many Filipinos in general and gun owners in particular are not familiar with Article 11 of the Revised Penal Code. Unless repealed, revised or revoked, the law says, and as paraphrased:...
Our belief is that owning a gun is not just for recreation, sports shooting or self-defense. It is not meant simply to defend yourself or your loved ones. Our belief is that owning a gun is a CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY...

SELF-RELIANCE
Our unsolicited advice to our President-elect Digong Duterte is not only to revive the ROTC but to consider certifying as urgent in Congress the enactment of a CONSCRIPTION LAW and SRDP LAW. Below is a speech delivered by our Chairman and CEO, Gene Cariño, a few years ago which was probably "ahead of its time" and now had become much more relevant. Please share this post as wide as possible in order to reach our President-elect Digong...
