Infrared Combat Identification Patches

IMG_20190125_094920.jpg

CALLING ON ARMED FORCES ...

During night-time operation, distinguishing between friendly and enemy forces is a challenging task. The darkness of night increases the risk of FRIENDLY FIRE casualties.

These INFRARED COMBAT IDENTIFICATION PATCHES feature IR identification passive materials engineered to absorb all visual light spectrum and reflect back only infrared. Reflected IR wavelength can be customized from 0.7 to 1.4 microns. These IR reflective patches will remain covert and will be activated only when IR lasers / lights are pointed at it. The reflected IR is returned in a narrow angle and can only be observed from the IR source viewpoint.

The only drawback is that we can sell only by the thousands, preferably at least 5,000 pieces of each design.

Product Review from the Philippine Army Shooting Contingent Commander

Product Review from the Philippine Army Shooting Contingent Commander

CREDIBLE product reviews come from CREDIBLE sources who have INTERNATIONAL experience in winning international competitions and/or those who had used their UDMC rifles in combat. In this video, LTC Isagani Criste is being interviewed by foreign media giving a testimonial to the UDMC Rifle in Russia which eventually won for the Philippine Team the Gold Medal in the Military Category of the 2017 RUSSIA WORLD SHOOT, an event sanctioned by IPSC. UDMC rifles also saw action in one of the best performances of the Philippine Army Team in the 2016 and the 2017 ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet. Under very stringent tests, the AFP had also tested and had passed the UDMC rifles for use by several military units.

In fact, while he did not mention it, anomalies in procurement are also very much prevalent in Local Government Units (municipal and city governments). Surprisingly, such anomalies are more prevalent in Southern Luzon than in other far flung regions and provinces. We have our own experiences to share in this regard, several of them. All the dirty tricks are employed. In fact, we have already filed a case with the Ombudsman against the BAC Chairman of the City of Calamba and is just waiting for resolution. More cases will be filed as we encounter them. Suppliers should MAKE A DIFFERENCE in making sure that LGU's comply with the law on procurement R.A. 9184 and not be part of the anomalous system of rigged biddings by way of infuencing the writing of Technical Specifications. LGU's should stop this "LUTONG MACAO" writing specifications or eligibility requirements that favor the supplier that they are in cahoots with.

THE ANOMALY STARTS IN THE WRITING OF THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS! This is what you call "cannalizing" or "tailor-fitting" in order to disqualify competitors of the favored supplier even before the bidding process starts. As many of you may be aware of, in the specifications, the law prohibits naming of brands, naming of country of origin, naming of a particular technology that is available from only ONE supplier ... and so on.

Just imagine .... we encounter LGU's who refuse to sell bidding documents to us since meron na daw silang napili na supplier, even before the bidding process is started as announced on PHILGEPS. Or LGU's who will send an emissary to tell us .... "boss na ka commit na raw po si mayor o si ganitong LGU official kay supplier na ganito ang pangalan. Baka daw po huwag na kayo sumali. Next time na lang daw po."

But in the Visayas and Mindanao, based on our experiences, we were surprised that biddings we joined in those regions were above board. Surprising because before, we always hear that anomalies are much more rampant in those regions. Hindi naman pala .. at least base sa aming karanasan. Meron din siguro pero hindi pa namin na encounter.

While this policy of the President will not be applicable to small projects at the LGU level (at least for now), it still is an excellent start in taking a second look at the procurement laws of our country particularly those being conducted at the LGU level. In our one-on-one with the President, we had discussed these anomalies with him a few times already. CHANGE IS DEFINITELY COMING! (Please share and post our opinion on your timelines and EXPOSE the ills of the Local Governments. To Sec. Año, please do not focus on the PNP alone. Look into the LGU's as well!)

UDMC-BERGARA BARRELS

Can you back-up your so-called "stainless steel" barrels with this certification of chemical composition and mechanical properties like what we do?

UDMC produces its barrels from cylindrical blanks supplied by Dikar S. Coop BERGARA of Spain whom UDMC represents as distributor in the entire Asia-Pacific Region. The Bergara cylindrical blanks are made from the finest carbon steel and stainless steel, used in the ordnance, aerospace and defence industries.

If other suppliers will say that their barrels are SS-416, only a Certificate of Chemical and Mechanical Analyses can determine its quality. UDMC’s AISI 416 Stainless Steel PREMIUM ordnance grade barrel has contents of Vanadium, Nickel and Molybdenum which are not found on a standard AISI 416 stainless steel barrel. The net effect is that the United Defense-Bergara barrels have a yield strength of 780 MPa (versus 275 MPa of std AISI-416 SS) and a tensile strength of 920 MPa (versus 517 MPa of std AISI-416 SS). In terms of toughness, UDMC barrel is 73 Joules versus 34 Joules of the std AISI-416 SS.

If required by the customer, we can issue a certification that the barrel installed on his or her UDMC rifle is a United Defense-Bergara PREMIUM Ordnance Grade barrel.

The optimum combination of high hardness, yield strength, and tensile strength, along with the correct toughness, allow UDMC barrels to withstand the generated pressures when the rifle is in battery, even with powerful rounds such as the .30 caliber or the .50 caliber precision rifles.

UDMC barrels, compared with other stainless steel barrels in the firearms industry, are very hard steel which increases the mechanical properties of the barrels and it is fair to say that this is one of the best insurance from the safety point of view of a barrel. In addition to this, one of the differences of UDMC barrels is the small grain size of its molecular structure thus guaranteeing excellent toughness. The homogenous microstructure during hardening and tempering provides a uniform hardness along the bar, producing a very uniform rifled bore, which is the key to accuracy of a barrel. The heat treatment, in combination with the precise deep hole drilling, honing and button rifling process results in a uniform finish of the bore under 0.0008 inches. The stress relieving heat treatment on the other hand, after the button rifling process, protects the bore from inside deformation after the tapering of the barrel. It also helps protect the barrel from heat generated after continuously firing several hundreds of rounds.

The same level of quality speaks of the UDMC-Bergara carbon steel barrels in durability, safety and accuracy.

Finally, the high chromium content of UDMC-Bergara barrels provides a good corrosion resistance to it.

Trust Only T6-7075 Forgings for Your AR Rifles

WARNING!

Trust only T6-7075 forgings for your AR rifles. At UDMC, we can issue a written certification that your receivers are made of the highest quality ordnance and aerospace grade T6-7075 forgings. Be forewarned that receivers milled from castings, billets and blankings are not T6-7075 aluminum forgings and are less than HALF the strength and durability of the real MILSPECS receivers that is the standard in making any type of AR rifle. To be sure, ask your supplier for a written certification of the origin of the receivers and when in doubt, have it analyzed for chemical composition and mechanical properties at the Metals Industry Research and Development Center of the DOST.

The Incredible Iron Man

2016 AARM Rifle Event Match-2. 100 SHOOTERS, with 30 of the shooters using scopes and 70 using plain iron sights. CPL ARIEL TAGANAIT using an iron-sighted rifle. SSG RODNEY RIZANO using a scoped rifle. After the dust settled, only one point separated the two team mates. SSG Rizano bagged GOLD while CPL Taganait bagged SILVER.

Here are the results for CPL Ariel Taganait employing a UDMC stock M16A2 rifle using only iron sights. And yes Santa Claus, UDMC has the M16A2 caliber 5.56 NATO rifle model in 20-inch barrel.

400m - down 1
300m - down zero
200m - down 1
100m - down zero
50m - down zero

Overall, it’s “down 2” using only iron sights and a simple UDMC stock rifle. Unbelievable IRON MAN!

For years, UDMC rifles had also been relied upon by American and British maritime security contractors led by the Trident Group (U.S.) and Infinite Security Solutions (U.K.) in protecting international shipping against pirates prowling the Gulf of Aden and the Indian Ocean. Both companies are composed of former Navy SEALs in their respective militaries.

Aside from the caliber 5.56 NATO rifles and carbines, UDMC also produces the 7.62 NATO semi-automatic precision rifles. They will be launching next month their 7.62 BLK rifles.

UDMC S7 Series

UDMC is branching out its S7 series 7.62mm caliber rifles into two variants, namely: the 7.62 NATO which is now existing in its line and the 7.62 BLK which will be launched in April 2017.
